Stuck in Customs

Components are stuck in Vancouver customs and I cannot start building display shields for the store. Hopefully this week things will start to shape up and I can put some Arduino 4-digit shields out for sale. It is worth the wait for this shield as it is super useful and low power too.
Some 4-digit shield features
- 4 x 1.25″ displays
- Fully alpha numeric
- I2C interface from Arduino/Freeduino
- Low power – No external power needed
- Easy to use – Built in character map makes using this shield very easy.
- Digital brightness control – Brightness can be set from code with only a few lines.
Components on its way

Got an email that the connectors were mailed yesterday. Should be up and running by end next week. This display shield will work really well in Arduino. I need to get the workshop cleaned out so assembly can begin soon. Pictures will be taken of the prototypes this weekend.

How impatient can one be?
Connector ETA is May 14h. The other discrete components will be from Digikey as they are super quick. I expect the display board pictures to be published this weekend or maybe early next week. Stay tuned.

We have 2 new shields coming soon to ShieldStudio.
We are still waiting for stock on these items but it looks like the first one out the gate would probably be the high-power quad motor shield by J. Wong. This shield will ship fully built and tested so watch this space for news in the coming week.
The second shield is our 4-Digit shield. I’ve been using this shield for the past few months and are very happy with its performance so far. Components are arriving as I type and hope fully in the next 2-3 weeks it will be all built and ready for shipping.
